This Review is specifically dedicated to the field of 'European Investment Law and Arbitration' by tracking the recent developments in this area.
With the entrance of the European Union into the field of International Investment Law and Arbitration, a new specialist field of European Investment Law and Arbitration has been developing rapidly. This new field draws on EU law, Public International Law, International Investment Law, International Arbitration and Practice and International Economic Law, while other fields of law such as Energy Law, Environmental Law and Human Rights are increasingly becoming relevant.

Loukas Mistelis is a Professor of Transnational Law and Arbitration and former Director of the School of International Arbitration at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London. He is a Partner at Clyde & Co LLP. Nikos Lavranos is former Guest Professor for International Investment Law at the Free University Brussels, Brussels Diplomatic Academy; first Secretary General of EFILA and founder and owner of NL-Investmentconsulting.
