Presented here is an account of industrial and general air pollution problems in view of air quality management, community and industrial health aspects, emission inventory, emission and air quality measurement techniques, dispersion phenomena and control technologies. Moreover, several case studies from automotive and manufacturing processes as well as some country reports are presented. Finally, the global warming problem (greenhouse effect), atmospheric carbon dioxide build-up and radiation hazards involved in the atmosphere are discussed.
