Paula Brough is a Professor of Organizational Psychology in the School of Applied Psychology, Griffith University, Australia. Paula conducts research in organisational psychology with a specific focus on occupational health psychology. Paula's primary research areas include: occupational stress, employee health and wellbeing, work-life balance, and the psychosocial work environment. Paula assesses how work environments can be improved via job redesign, supportive leadership practices, and enhanced equity to improve employee health, work commitment, and productivity. Paula is an Editorial Board member of Journal of Organisational Behavior, Work and Stress, and the International Journal of Stress Management, three of the leading journals in this field. Elliroma Gardiner is a registered Organisational Psychologist and Lecturer at the School of Applied Psychology, Griffith University, Australia. Prior to joining Griffith Elli was part of the Employment Relations and Organisational Behaviour Group, Department of Management, London School of Economics, UK. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the School of Management, Queensland University of Technology, Australia and was awarded her PhD in 2011 from the University of Queensland, Australia. Her research interests are broadly in the area of understanding the interplay between individual differences and contextual features in influencing employee and organisational outcomes, but her specific interest is in investigating how personality impacts performance, pay and risk-taking in the workplace. She has published in high impact and quality journals such as Psychological Bulletin, Journal of Personality, Human Resource Management Journal and the British Journal of Psychology.
