Radioimmunoassay (RIA) and related methods are attractive analytical tools for determination of a wide variety of molecules present in complex matrices. This publication details their use in a variety of non-clinical applications.
Radioimmunoassay (RIA) and related methods are attractive analytical tools for determination of a wide variety of molecules present in complex matrices. This is due to the high degree of specificity of the antigen antibody reaction, the high sensitivity offered by radioactivity measurements, the simplicity of the technique, its reliability and the requirement for only modest equipment and facilities. This publication details their use in a variety of non-clinical applications.
