Joseph Adeniran Adedeji is a Fellow of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt, Nürtigen, Germany. He was a Carson Fellow at Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society, Ludwig-Maximillians Universitat, Munich, Germany. A chartered architect and Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor at the Department of Architecture, Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria, he holds PhD, MTech, and BTech degrees in architecture with research focuses on urban open spaces and landscape hermeneutics of the urban grain in African contexts
