Theory to Countermeasures Against New Radars (eBook)
XV, 519 Seiten
Springer Nature Singapore (Verlag)
978-981-16-6715-2 (ISBN)
This book introduces readers to a range of jamming principles and techniques for new radars, combining a wealth of theoretical analyses, test data, calculations, and charts. With rapid advances in military radar technology, new types of radar are constantly emerging. Therefore, there is an urgent need to carry out effective research on these new radars and to develop corresponding jamming techniques.
The main topics covered include development of radar and radar countermeasures; jamming techniques for synthetic aperture radar; jamming techniques for pulse compression radar; jamming techniques for pulse Doppler radar; general jamming techniques for various radars; analysis and calculation of the effective jamming suppression zone and jamming exposure zone for radars installed on different platforms; jamming techniques for phased array radar; jamming techniques for dual (multiple) static radar; and solutions for high equivalent radiation power, high reception sensitivity, and transceiver isolation in jammer design.
Zhang Xixiang, the academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is the former deputy chief engineer of Southwest Institute of Electronic Equipment. He has successfully developed various types of electronic warfare equipment. He has won the first, second, and third prizes for National Science and Technology Progress Award, as well as a number of national science and technology progress awards. In addition, he has published three monographs and more than 50 papers.
Xiao Kaiqi, Ph.D., Professor, has been actively involved in research and development of broadband antenna arrays and high-power microwave technologies for many years. He has won ten National Science and Technology Progress Awards, the gold prize at the National Exposition of Scientific and Technological Achievements, and the honorary title of National Youth Science and Technology Model. He holds ten patents and has published more than 40 papers in journals and conference proceedings.
Gu Jie, Ph.D., Professor, serves as the life member of the Association of Old Crows (AOC), the member of the Radar Subcommittee of Chinese Institute of Electronics, the director of the Electronic Warfare Professional Committee of Sichuan Institute of Electronics, and the member of the Academic Committee of Sichuan National Applied Mathematics Center. He focuses on integrated electronic countermeasure technologies, radar countermeasure technologies, array signal processing, and has published two monographs and more than 20 research papers in these fields. He has been awarded a number of the National Science and Technology Progress Awards, and honored with the Leading Talent of the China Electronics Technology Group Corporation.
