Inorganic Contaminants and Radionuclides

One of the major constraints to assessing and remediating contaminated sites is the lack of awareness of the extent and severity of contaminated sites amongst the community, regulators, policymakers, industry operators, university graduates and environmental managers. This book helps to manage these constraints.
Professor Ravi Naidu is the Global Innovation Chair and Director of the Global Centre for Environmental Remediation at the University of Newcastle. Ravi has researched contaminants for 30 years, having published 710 journal articles, edited 16 books, and written an additional 200 technical reports. He is the most highly cited Australian Environmental Scientist and is currently the Chief Executive of the only national research centre of excellence: Cooperative Research Centre for Contamination Assessment and Remediation of the Environment. In recognition of his research contributions he has been elected Fellow of Soil Science Society America, New Zealand Soil Science Society, Agronomy Society of America, American Advancement of Science, European Academy of Science and Arts, Royal Society of Chemistry, Royal Australian Institute of Chemistry and Australian Academy of Science Technology and Engineering. He has extensive collaboration globally.
