Mary McAteer is Director of the Mathematics Specialist Teacher (MaST) programme at Edge Hill University Lisa Murtagh is BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS Part Time Programme Leader at Edge Hill University. She has been involved in Initial Teacher Training for nine years and her research interest lies with assessment. Fiona Hallett is a Senior Lecturer and pathway leader for the MA in Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties at Edge Hill University. She has worked in a variety of special and mainstream schools; both as a teacher and as a senior manager. Gavin Turnbull is an Associate Lecturer within the Postgraduate Professional Development team at Edge Hill University. He has a background of working in a range of multi-disciplinary settings and is interested in inter-professional working, risk and professional practice.
