Philosophy of Education in the On-Life Era: The Journey Towards a New Conceptualization of Learning

Michal Černý , PhD, is deputy head and senior researcher at the Department of Information Sciences and Librarianship at Masaryk University, where he has worked since 2012. He has been analyzing the relationship between the philosophy of information and the philosophy of education, which is also the topic of this book. He specifically focuses on information literacy, digital competence, online learning, virtual reality and learning environments. He received PhD in social education. He studied teaching physics and computer science in secondary school and theology. He authorizes over ten monographs, textbooks, and scientific papers.
