María Dolores García Ramos, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Art History at the University of Córdoba, Spain. Her research focuses on cinema, the rural world and museology. She is the author of ‘The enthusiasm of local museums in the province of Córdoba in the 1980s as a consequence of the new legal and institutional order born of the Spanish Transition’ (2023); and ‘Approach to the propaganda use of architecture in the rural documentaries of the Istituto LUCE and the Francoist Ministry of Agriculture’ (2022).María José Ramos Rovi, PhD, is a researcher and Tenured Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Córdoba, Spain. She is the author of various monographs on political elites and multiple articles on the history of women, including ‘The image of women in the Francoism comics’ (2017) and ‘Discourse and power in comics for post-war Spanish women’ (2022).
