Chad Luke is a professor of counseling who teaches neuroscience for counselors, career counseling, theories and techniques, multicultural counseling, among others. He is a clinical supervisor and a licensed counselor with 20 years of clinical experience. He is the author of Neuroscience for Counselors and Therapists: Integrating the Sciences of Mind and Brain. Melinda M. Gibbons is a professor and coordinator of the doctoral program in counselor education at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She holds a Ph.D. in counseling and counselor education and a M.S. and Ed.S. in school counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her research focuses on career development for underserved populations, and she has received over $7 million in grant funding to increase equity and access related to career and educational exploration.
