Univ.-Prof. Dr. Alfred Springer, geboren 1941 in Wien. Facharzt für Neurologie und Psychiatrie, Psychoanalytiker und Psychotherapeut. Er habilitierte 1980 in Psychiatrie mit besonderer Berücksichtigung der Psychotherapie und fungierte bis 2006 als Leiter des Ludwig-Boltzmann-Instituts für Suchtforschung in Wien und als Leiter der Ambulanz für Störungen der sexuellen Funktion und Identität an der Psychiatrischen Univ.-Klinik, Wien. Er wurde mit dem Silbernen und dem Goldenen Ehrenzeichen für Verdienste um die Republik Österreich und mit dem Preis der Stadt Wien für Wissenschaft ausgezeichnet.
