A Writer’s Journal for Creating Characters

Name one thing you’d find in their pocket.
Do they have any daily routines?
Do they like gossip?


Then build off of these smaller details to really get into the meat of your character:

What is one way they treat their body well?
How do they work through their thoughts?
Describe a significant person in their life, past or present.
