Joel Houston is Creative Director for Hillsong Church globally and he currently lives in New York City, where he is helping to build Hillsong NYC. Joel’s music is sung every Sunday by more than 50 million people worldwide. His and Hillsong United’s story is the subject of a new documentary, “Hillsong: Let Hope Rise,” which was featured on the TODAY show in September. Part of what makes Houston unique is his crossover appeal between the Christians and the mainstream audience, giving him a wide fan base around the world. Matt Crocker is a Sydney-based worship leader and songwriter who has grown up in Hillsong church. His younger years were spent playing the drums and learning how to write music in a band setting, where his love of songwriting was first sparked. After being encouraged to start writing for youth ministry, Matt began to take songwriting more seriously and spent much of his teenage years learning how to write songs on his own. Matt has had the privilege of traveling the world with United and writing songs with influence that spans the globe. Matt is happily married to his wife, Breanna, and continues to write songs for Hillsong Church and United. Salomon Ligthelm is a freak of creative nature with passion and skills in storytelling, photography, cinematography, motion and design graphics, editing, music composing, and sound design. Salomon plays a heavy hand in branding content with a unique style that breaks the boundaries and takes what Hillsong does to new levels.
