Meet the Cats

Rita is a children’s book illustrator based in Porto, Portugal. Her love of storytelling started when she was five years old and her passion for illustration and animation started after she saw the behind-the-scenes of Snow White, and thought “Wow, I can do that too.” Her dog, Joaquim, is her muse and thanks to him, she has gotten the opportunity to help local animal shelters with her art. When she is not drawing, Rita plays a princess at children’s parties.
