Dictionary of Optometry

A dictionary of optometry which has definitions of more than 2500 terms. This second edition now includes a revised section on ocular diseases and more names of ophthalmic drugs have been added. Two new panels, on abbreviations and symbols and on eye diseases, are also included.

This 2nd edition has been revised, especially in the area of ocular diseases in which a brief mention of the main treatment is now given. More ophthalmic drugs have been added, usually with the generic term given, although the common trade names of the most frequently used ocular solutions have also been added. Also added are two new panels, one for abbreviations and symbols and the other for eye diseases which are defined in the text. Many new definitions appear in the 2nd edition and the cross-referencing has also been extended.
