Horseback Riding in Action

Aimed at ages 6-9, this work helps children learn about the daily care of horses and the basics of horseback riding including equipment, mounting and dismounting, turning, stopping, trotting, and cantering. It also covers: practising; preparing for competitions; competing in events such as show jumping; and, equitation or form and appearance.
