About the Authors Joe Morgan started his 22-year career with the Houston Astros and was named the 1965 Rookie of the Year. While with the Cincinnati Reds, he was named to eight consecutive All-Star teams and received back-to-back MVP honors. Joe was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990. He currently serves as an ESPN Color Commentator and NBC Expert Analyst for Major League Baseball. Richard Lally's articles and columns on baseball and other sports have appeared in prestigious publications throughout the world. He is the author or coauthor of 16 books, including the baseball biography The Wrong Stuff.
