Dog Bless America

Jeff Selis, along with his trusty bull terrier, Otis, and his old friend, Seamus, left Portland in August of last year, with a minivan, a polaroid, and a mission to meet and photograph every dog they could find. They arrived back home in time for Thanksgiving, with a whole slew of stories, photographs, and about fifty new four-legged friends. Dog Bless America is one third travel diary to two thirds class yearbook - there is a photograph of a dog from each state, sometimes more than one, and a charmingly sweet and funny bio, to go along with them. Set against the backdrop of the road trip of a lifetime, these dogs manage to wag, bark, swim, hunt, and drool their way into the staunchest of hearts.
