If you are told you have COPD (a general term covering serious lung diseases such as chronic bronchitis and emphysema) you could be forgiven for feeling that there is no information to help you cope with this potentially disabling condition. It is one of the most common respiratory disorders in the UK and yet over 70% of people have never heard of it.

The positive news is that with good management, you can do much to improve your symptoms and live a normal life.

This practical guide shares many people’s experiences and contains helpful and informative answers to 196 questions asked by people with COPD and their families.
