Donald Reid is an Edinburgh resident and has written the Rough Guide to his home town as well as titles to South Africa and the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Rob Humphreys has been writing for Rough Guides since 1989 and visiting Scotland since he was a child living in rural Yorkshire.
