Over the centuries, Paris has grown in ever-widening concentric circles, starting from the Île de la Cité.

Many palaces and monuments have risen and now recount the fascinating history of the city.

This book invites us to discover this remarkable history-featuring both ordeals and moments of glory-through the most famous Parisian monuments.
