Michael is about to begin writing his second book, all about the meaning of true success, but is unsure how to go about it. He embarks on a 22-week oveland trip from London to Sydney. He unexpectedly receives the answers he is looking for at a hotel in Singapore, in a series of conversations with the mysterious Parandin.
