Writer Sacha Jackson guides travelers to the highlights of Montreal and Quebec City, from the trendy bars, restaurants, and festivals of Montreal to the original city walls and historic center of Quebec City. Jackson also offers one-of-a-kind trip ideas, like Canadian History 101: Where it Started and Edible Quebec: A Foodie Feeding Frenzy. Complete with details on kayaking the Lachine canal, eating your own weight in maple-cured meats in the Laurentians, and participating in the concerts, parades, and sleigh races of the Carnaval de Quebec, Moon Montreal and Quebec City gives travelers the tools they need to create a more personal and memorable experience.

Sacha Jackson first visited Quebec City as an eighth-grader. Years later, she moved to Montreal with a high school diploma and a bad French accent. As a student there, she learned that the best way to get to know the city was on a bike, spending many nights touring the quiet, tree-lined streets and racing friends down Mont-Royal. After graduating from college, Sacha lived in London and Toronto before settling back in Montreal. Two of her favorite things about the city are its impractical outdoor circular staircases and the smell of hot bagels; as for Quebec City, she makes regular visits there to wander its cobbled streets and picnic on the Plains of Abraham. Sacha is currently the arts editor at the Montreal Mirror. Her writing has also appeared in Dazed & Confused, Vice, and Exclaim!
