John Murdoch is an Emeritus Professor of Law at the University of Reading, where for 40 years he has taught students of both Law and Real Estate. He has written more than 20 books and numerous articles in both legal and real estate journals, and has for 30 years been one of two contributors to the Estates Gazette's 'Legal Notes' column. In 1999 he was made an Honorary Fellow of RICS in recognition of services to the property profession.
