This edition contains revisions to chapter 7, to include a case on the Welsh border concerning a screen of Cupressus trees, and chapter 11, about the problems associated with the use of computer programs. Chapter 14 on planning, in particular "Sunlight and Daylight", has been completely revised, and the Appendix includes an extra case, "Deakings v Hookings", 1993.
