Cambridge Scholars Publishing (Verlag)
978-1-5275-5286-9 (ISBN)
Gregory Esangbedo holds multiple degrees in law, including a master’s degree from the prestigious Oxford University and a master’s degree in management, specialising in finance, from the University of Texas at Dallas, and he has recently completed a doctorate degree in law. He is also licensed to practice law in Nigeria. His interest in secured transactions stems mainly from his extensive work experience as a senior in-house counsel in leading financial institutions in Nigeria, including the United Bank for Africa Plc. In these roles, he was involved in the administration of credit and in secured transactions. The author’s current focus is in exploring the intersection between law and finance in enhancing credit opportunities for vulnerable business entities, an area in which he has written and published extensively in top journals. He also consults on financial issues for several international organisations, including the UN Capital Development Fund.
