Michael C. Braswell is Professor Emeritus of the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology of East Tennessee State University (ETSU). Braswell received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mercer University, a Master of Arts in Psychology from the State University of West Georgia, his Ed.S. in Rehabilitation/Correctional Counseling from the University of Georgia, and his Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He joined the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at ETSU, where he taught classes on Ethics and Justice, Human Relations and Criminal Justice, and Film Studies in Crime and Justice. Bradley D. Edwards is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). His previous publications include the areas of policing, corrections, ethics, restorative justice, and corporate misconduct. He also is the co-author for Introduction to Criminal Justice by Routledge, which is currently in its 9th edition. Edwards obtained his B.S. and M.A. in Criminal Justice from East Tennessee State University, as well as his Ed.D. from ETSU with a concentration in Post-Secondary and Private Sector Leadership in 2017. Belinda R. McCarthy became the first provost at Missouri State University (MSU) in 2006 after serving as Professor of Counseling, Leadership, and Special Education. Before joining MSU she was a Professor of Criminal Justice and Public Affairs and Dean of the College of Health and Public Affairs at the University of Central Florida for 16 years. Her PhD is in Criminal Justice from SUNY Albany. Bernard J. McCarthy is Professor Emeritus of Criminal Justice at Missouri State University. He was also Director of the Center for Community and Social Issues, and Program Coordinator for the MSAS (Criminal Justice and Homeland Security). His research interests focus on the impact of policy changes on criminal justice operations and program evaluation.
