About the author:
Helen Avis is a Programme and Student Lead at The University of Law in Nottingham. Her
current teaching combines her knowledge from her significant academic experience and
her previous practice as a Senior Associate in a large national firm.
Synopsis:
Land Law provides essential knowledge of the complex rules that have developed over
the centuries from the Norman Conquest and that remain relevant to us all. The ownership
and use of land is crucial to individuals, to commerce and to the economy of the country.
