He is a visiting lecturer in law at the University of Hertfordshire and also provides post-qualifying legal training to mental health professionals. Christine Hutchison is a registered social worker, practicing for many years as an Approved Social Worker/Approved Mental Health Professional. Christine has lectured for Bournemouth University’s post qualifying AMHP courses and worked as a Mental Health Act Commissioner for the Care Quality Commission. She is a Specialist Lay Member of the Mental Health Tribunal and a Director of Edge Training & Consultancy Ltd, delivering training on mental health and mental capacity law and practice in England and Wales.
