About the Author
Tom Flynn is a practising barrister based in the Law Library, Dublin, specialising in local government planning and environmental law. He frequently represents applicants, developers, local authorities and the Government of Ireland in a wide range of environment and planning litigation before the courts and in planning inquiries. He is assistant editor of the Irish Planning and Environmental Law Journal, a contributor to the Irish Planning Law Factbook, and has lectured and written widely on the topics of Irish planning and environmental law. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy, University College Dublin.
