Dr Geoff Andersen was born and raised in Australia. He earned his Ph.D. in physics in 1996 and since then has been employed as a research physicist with the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado. His research specialties include telescope and microscope design, holography and remote sensing. He has worked on projects funded by NASA, the National Reconnaissance Office, the US Air Force and the Australian Research Council.
