A look into the rules of our universe without the usual dogmatic restrictions and with new mood of invigoration. Revised and updated edition with a sharper emphasis on the Nature of Chance.
Space, time, energy, force, mass - and above all, light. We work with these terms in formulas and images that are already far too rigid and entrenched to do justice to the still very young age of the sciences. Has the Standard Model of Cosmology passed its half-life? Cosmological diffusion provides clarity on a variety of topics that the SMC cannot explain. The following two questions need to be regarded philosophically and bring to light the blind spot of cosmologists:
Why do physicists expect there to be a set of rules from the very start..?
And why do they consider the universe to be a closed system, which would be equivalent to its unnatural existence in a kind of petri dish..?
Both initial conditions are completely unscientific assumptions that were, however, made by scientists. Such mathematical “extremism” causes physics to overshoot its goals. Humans are fortunate to experience their biological environment and recognize that evolution is necessary so that new links first emerge and then the ability for new interactions germinates. Shouldn't we first assume that what we observe in living nature most likely also applies to fundamental origins? What better data source does science have to map adaptive development? None at all. The only natural evolution that has so far taken place fast enough to be measured occurs in living matter, as it may have already more or less calmed down (stabilized) with regard to its basic building blocks.
