Alírio Soares Boaventura is a scientist and lead RF engineer at Maybell Quantum Industries in Denver Colorado and previously was a researcher for over five years at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder Colorado. He is the recipient of the 2011 URSI-Portugal/ANACOM Prize, and of an IEEE MTT-S graduate fellowship award and was featured in the publication University of Aveiro, forty Years, forty Inventors,forty Entrepreneurs. Nuno Borges Carvalho is currently a Full Professor and a Senior Research Scientist with the Institute of Telecommunications, University of Aveiro and an IEEE Fellow. He coauthored Intermodulation in, Microwave and Wireless Measurement Techniques (Cambridge University Press, 2013), White Space Communication Technologies (Cambridge University Press, 2014) and Wireless Power Transmission for Sustainable Electronics (2020). He is a Distinguished Lecturer for the RFID-Council and in 2022 was the IEEE-MTT President-Elect.
