They exemplify CDHR's mission of being dedicated to saving the lives of draft horses that were victims of starvation and neglect. Once nourished, they flourished and became draft horse ambassadors for the organization. Written from their perspective, you will see their journey from rescue, to rehabilitation, to retraining, as well as to becoming superstars for CDHR. You will find themes of love, connecting, friendship, beauty, appreciation, grief, and loss. From horses to humans alike, I wanted to share their incredible connection out of love and respect for them and CDHR with my story and photography.
