The mainstay of this book is the progress made in the field of Josephson Junction Arrays. Both experimental and theoretical developments are presented in thirteen chapters, written by some of the very eminent and most active researchers in the field. In all, there are 28 contributors to the present volume, from 11 different countries and thus keeping up with the international character of the series.
