Luigi Calabrese holds a Master?s degree in Materials Engineering (2008) and a PhD in Chemical and Materials Engineering (2012), both from the University of Messina. Currently he is Associate Professor in Material Science and technology area at the Department of Engineering of the University of Messina. His major research interests are in the field of Materials Science and Technology, focusing on development of innovative materials for thermal energy storage and conversion. Currently he is the author or co-author of more than 150 articles in indexed journal, 8 books/books chapter and 7 patents. Emanuela Mastronardo received her Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry and Engineering in 2016 at the University of Messina and she is currently a Researcher at the Engineering Department of the University of Messina (Italy) specialized in materials development for thermochemical heat storage technologies. She received a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship (from 2017 to 2020) for developing the research project SESPer ? Solar Energy Storage Perovskites in collaboration between the Materials Science and Engineering Department of Northwestern University (US), the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the Spanish National Research Council (Spain), and IMDEA Energy Institute (Spain), where she has been working as a post-doctoral researcher. She collaborates to the SolarPACES TASK III: Solar Technology and Advanced Applications and to the joint SHC Task 58 / ECES Annex 33 Material and Component Development for Thermal Energy Storage.
