The book addresses students at the (upper) undergraduate level, as well as tutors and teachers. It is a rich source of exercises for exam preparation and can be used alongside classical textbooks. Furthermore it can serve teachers and tutors for the conception of their lessons. Its well-thought-through presentation, structure and design make the book appeal to everybody who wants to succeed with the physical chemistry lessons and exercises.
Jochen Vogt was born in 1970 in Aalen, Germany. He studied physics at the University of Ulm from 1990 to 1996, and obtained his PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Hannover, Germany. Since his postdoctoral lecture qualification in 2008, he is a private lecturer at the chemistry department of the University of Magdeburg, Germany. His research activities are in the field of physical chemistry of interfaces and molecular spectroscopy.
