CSIR-NBRI, Lucknow keeps more than 350 chrysanthemum cultivars as germplasm. Present submission represents the work carried out for identification and management of virus/es infecting this germplasm. Two cucumoviruses, CMV and TAV, could be detected in several chrysanthemum cultivars, identified at genome sequence level. Moreover, for their facile management, different strategies used have also been detailed. This book will be helpful to the researchers as well as to the chrysanthemum growers to have information on basic and recent management tools for chrysanthemum management.

Susheel Kumar, Ph.D., has done his doctoral in Botany with specialization in Plant Virology. He has published more than 70 research publications of international repute and is co-author in 04 book chapters. He received 02 national fellowships from CSIR and 01 from DST-SERB and his research interest focuses on host-plant virus-interactions.
