Corrosion Inhibitors

This book discusses principles, mechanisms and applications of corrosion inhibitors. Chapter One focuses on organic corrosion inhibitors and their industrial applications. Chapter Two explores the application of polymer composites and nanocomposites as corrosion inhibitors for different metal substrates in different corrosive media. Chapter Three provides a review of corrosion inhibitors and a progress towards use of environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitors in the amine-based CO2 absorption process for acid gas treatment and carbon capture. Chapter Four studies the effectiveness of copaiba oil loaded on microemulsion systems as green corrosion inhibitors.
