Finite temperature field theory is playing an increasingly important role in our understanding of fundamental interactions. It is relevant to condensed matter physics, early universe cosmology, astrophysics, particle physics, nuclear physics and quantum optics.The proceedings of the Banff/CAP Summer School and Workshop comprise the outcome of the third international workshop hold on finite temperature field theory.
