Pontus Aspenström is a Group Leader at the Department of Microbiology, Tumor and Cell Biology, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. The research activities in his laboratory are focused on signal transduction pathways that regulate cytoskeletal dynamics. His research interests include F-BAR proteins, atypical Rho GTPases and the mammalian Verprolins (WIP, W IRE and CR16). Pontus Aspenström received his PhD from the Uppsala University, Sweden and did a post-doc at MRC-LMCB, University College London, London, UK. He has also served as a Group Leader at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, Uppsala, Sweden.
