Alison Farr qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London. After five years in small animal practice in West Yorkshire she joined IDEXX Laboratories in Wetherby to work as a Veterinary Clinical Pathologist. Annaliese H Magee qualified from Edinburgh's Telford College in 1997. She has worked in small animal and mixed practices. She gained the assessor examination in 2000 and the surgical diploma in 2003. She is Head Nurse at Hird & Partners, Halifax, West Yorkshire. Susan L Roberts is a Glasgow graduate with many years of experience in both mixed and small animal practice. She now runs a mobile cardiology referral service in the North of England. She was Editor of the veterinary Practice Nurse for 15 years and External Examiner (2002-2005) for the Final Dissertation in the Veterinary Nursing and Practice Management Degree BSc Hons at Bristol University.
