She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. She is a leading researcher in the development of personalized rehabilitation treatment using biomarkers and biologics.   She has spent 23 years as an acute care neurorehabilitation consultant for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and serves as the Director for the UPMC Brain Injury Medicine Clincal Fellowship Program.
