Muhammad Shahzad Aslam is a young high‐performing professional with more than ten years of experience in higher education. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xiamen University Malaysia. He completed his PhD from Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia, under a scholarship awarded by the Government of Malaysia under the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia categorized as Malaysian International Scholarship. He had completed M.Phil in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Pakistan. He has graduated as a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) from Baqai Medical University, Karachi, Pakistan. He has been working with a multidisciplinary attitude in digital health, mental health, psychopharmacology, public health, natural product chemistry, green chemistry, novel extraction prototype, extraction, fractionation and isolation of bioactive compounds, stabilities studies of pharmaceuticals, standardization of herbal product, pre-clinical trials, and health informatics. The researcher currently working to identify new biomolecules in chronic pain and rare neurological disorders. Currently, he has an h index fourteen (14) and i10 index seventeen (17). During his small scientific carrier, the researcher had published more than 85 articles in international peer-review journals and had collaborated with different universities such as the Centro Escolar University, Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI), University of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Sintok, Malaysia, Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan, Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Guwahati, India, University of Lahore, Pharmaceutical Academy, Russia. He was nominated as the top 1% reviewer in clinical medicine and cross-discipline in 2019. He has reviewed more than 462+ articles and had handle 274+ articles as an academic editor. He was consistent top reviewer in 2018 and 2017. He is currently serving as an academic editor in prestigeous journal (i.e., PLOS, Medicine, Frontiers in Clinical Diabetes and Healthcare).
