Physicochemical Aspects of Metal-Organic Frameworks
Springer International Publishing (Verlag)
978-3-031-18674-5 (ISBN)
Featuring chapters dedicated to the design of novel MOF structures, as well as theoretical calculations via density functional theory and machine learning techniques, this book targets a wide readership of both academic and industrial researchers interested in an in-depth understanding of the latest MOF structure-function relationships, as well as their deployment in a wide variety of coordinated engineering applications.
Prof. Dr. Ali Maleki received his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2009. He started his career as Assistant Professor in Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in 2010, where he is currently Full Professor. His research interests focus on design and development of novel catalysts, nanomaterials, and green chemistry. He has hundreds of ISI-JCR publications. Some of his honors include: Distinguished Researcher of IUST within 2010-2020, IUPAC Prize for green chemistry in 2016, and Top 1% International Scientists in ESI (Web of Science) in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Dr. Reza Taheri-Ledari earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Pure and Organic Chemistry from the University of Tehran (UT). He received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in 2021 from the IUST and currently works in the Department of Chemistry as Senior Researcher. His research interests focus on drug development, drug delivery, and high-tech pharmaceutical compounds such as antibody-drug conjugates. He has published several ISI publications involving international collaborations with researchers from China, the USA, Spain, and Canada. He was named Top Research Scholar of IUST in 2019 and 2020, and also Top 2% Scientist in the World, in 2021.
