Soney C George, PhD, is Dean of Research and Director of the Amal Jyothi Centre for Nanoscience and Technology, Kerala, India. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, London, and a recipient of "best researcher of the year" award in 2018 from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram, India. He has also received awards such as best faculty award from the Indian Society for Technical Education, best citation award from the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, a fast-track award of young scientists by Department of Science & Technology, India, and an Indian young scientist award instituted by the Indian Science Congress Association. He did his postdoctoral studies at the University of Blaise Pascal, France, and Inha University, South Korea. He has published and presented almost 200 publications in journals and at conferences. His major research fields are polymer nanocomposites, polymer membranes, polymer tribology, pervaporation, and supercapacitors. He has guided eight PhD scholars and 95 student projects. Ann Rose Abraham, Ph.D., received her M. Sc, M. Phil and Ph.D degrees in Physics from School of Pure and Applied Physics, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. Her Ph.D thesis was on the title ‘Development of Hybrid Mutliferroic Materials for Tailored Applications’. She has expertise in the field of materials science, nanomagnetic materials, multiferroics and polymeric nanocomposites, etc. She has research experience at various national institutes like Bose Institute, SAHA Institute of Nuclear Physics, UGC-DAE CSR Centre, Kolkata and collaborations with various international laboratories like University of Johannesburg, South Africa, Institute of Physics Belgrade, etc. She is the recipient of Young Researcher award in Physics, a prestigious forum to show case the intellectual capability. Dr. Ann is currently working as an Assistant Professor, Assumption College, Changanassery. She served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Dr. Ann is frequent speaker at national and international conferences. She has taught students at postgraduate level at the International and Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and mentored postgraduate students in their research projects. She has authored many book chapters and edited books with Taylor and Francis, Elsevier, etc. She has good number of publications to her credit in many peer reviewed high impact journals of international repute.
