This surgical manual provides a step-by-step guide to various surgical procedures for patients with thyroid eye disease (TED). The key surgical steps are covered in detail, with intra-operative photographs. The manual addresses all aspects of TED, including the basic anatomy, surgical preparation, evaluation of imaging, and surgical procedures. TED is commonly encountered by oculoplastic surgeons and general ophthalmologists in their daily practice, and restoration of the normal appearance is vital to patients and their families. Surgical treatments for TED include basic oculoplastic surgery, complex eyelid surgery, strabismus surgery, orbital surgery, and aesthetic procedures.

All of the contributing authors are eminent experts with vast experience in treating TED. High-resolution images will help readers understand the key surgical steps, and are combined with a minimal amount of text, reflecting the book’s focus on surgical technique. Offering a complete guide that contains all relevant surgical knowledge on TED, presented in a highly practice-oriented format, the book is a must-read for every surgeon whose work involves managing TED.
