Keratoconus is a developmental problem in which the central portion of the cornea becomes thinner and bulges forward in a cone-shaped fashion. Correction is usually best achieved with contact lenses, but if these cannot be worn or if the condition is severe, a corneal transplant is carried out. This manual provides clinical findings for the management of keratoconus patients.
