The book is organized by the traditional oriented approach. Special emphasis is placed on current clinical diagnosis and therapy, appropriate surgical techniques, and a comparison of alternative methods of treatment. The new material reflects clinical relevance wherever possible, advances in techniques, particularly diagnostic imaging with added CT scans and MRIs.
